Welcome to our Surgery website

The Castle Surgery is a medium sized, family GP surgery, in rural Essex. We currently work from 2 sites, the main site being at 10 Falcon Square in Castle Hedingham. We share a branch surgery in Great Yeldham which has limited opening hours.

The Practice has a good knowledge of its patients and always tries to offer a friendly service.

We share our afternoons on call with Hilton House surgery in Sible Hedingham. For emergency appointments it is best to phone us in the morning.

Please note that from midday on Tuesday, Wednesday and alternate Fridays our phones are diverted to Hilton House Surgery for strictly emergency only appointments. On these afternoons the Castle Surgery is still open for pre-booked appointments.

Please be aware we do not operate the ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING SYSTEM (EPS).  - This service is not available at this Practice.

** The Surgery will be closed from 1.pm. on both Tuesday 13th November 2018 and Wednesday 12th December 2018 for staff development. If medication is required please ensure that it is collected in the morning. **

Please be aware the Dispensary will be closed from 1.p.m. on Wednesday 31st October 2018.  Please ensure any medication required is collected in the morning. It will re-open as usual the following morning.
