Travel Advice and Vaccinations
The nurse can offer you the latest information on travel vaccinations.
For some destinations a course of injections may be needed over a period of 2 months, so if possible try to make your appointment at least 8 weeks before you are due to travel.
We are also a Yellow Fever Centre and can offer you this vaccination and the appropriate Certificate if necessary.
Please ask the receptionist for a travel form to complete when you book your appointment so that you can be given the best advice. Some vaccinations are available on the NHS, others you will have to pay for.
When requesting home visits, please try to ring before 10.30 a.m. The receptionist will ask for the relevant details, including a contact telephone number. You may be asked to speak to a doctor to discuss the request further.
New Prescriptions
New prescriptions from the Doctor, given during Surgery, will usually be available immediately .
The Surgery dispenses drugs to all patients living more than one mile from the nearest Chemist.
Prescription collection times may be found
Test results will only be given to the person to whom they relate or to a parent
or guardian. To request a test or X-
